Happi health is a local non- profit in the area which provides medical services for people who are uninsured or are on medicare or medicaid.

Doctors are inside manna house tonight - giving free flu vaccines to people who want them.

A spokesperson for the organization says they are happy to be able to provide this service to the community.

They also provide free coronavirus testing for people who go to their two facilities in huntsville as well.

The organization will be giving out free flu shot here until 6 and they said they will also be providing other oppertunities for people to get free flu vaccines in the future as well.

In marshall county -- rapid care family medical clinic in albertville added a few rapid test machines.

It's to help get more people tested.

Rapid care has the ability to run about 120 rapid tests each day.

The the results return in about 15 minutes.

You don't need an appointment to get a rapid test.

New information -- nationwide - another 885- thousand people filed initial unemployment claims last week.

That's more than the 800- thousand claims economists expected.

According to the department of labor -- it's also the 4-th time in the past 5 weeks that first-time claims increased.

Continuing claims -- which track the total number of americans seeking jobless benefits -- fell to 5.5-million.

We know more than 75-hunderd of those initial claims came from right here in alabama.

More than 32-hundred of those were coronavirus- related.

Most did not come for a specific industry.

The administrative industry reported 740 claims. here's a closer look at the numbers here in north alabama.

Madison county reported the most initial claims with 471.

Morgan and marshall counties followed.

Lauderdale and limestone counties were the only other 2 counties in the region to report more than 100 claims. the pandemic wreaked havoc on a once healthy job market.

The data shows american women were hit harder than men -- suffering more job losses.

Women hold 5.3-million fewer jobs than they did before the pandemic began in february.

As for men -- they hold 4.6- million fewer jobs.
