- 702 t ... the state gave updated case numbers today at the northpoint training center where more than half of the inmates have tested positive for covid-19.

The state says of the 702 inmates who tested positive... 672 of the cases are still active and 30 have recovered.

The department also says one staff member at the prison has died from the virus and 62 have tested positive.

Of that number... 23 are active cases and 38 have recovered.

The state says the prison has taken numerous steps to ensure that inmates who test positive are isolated from the rest of the population.
