*s says slip and falls are among the most frequent types of injuries for mail carriers... and as ice coats driveways and sidewalks... that's a huge concern.

Staff say while postal workers may make it look easy... delivering mail during winter weather is difficult... and we all have to remember... these mail "if someone falls, that means that they could be out of work for a few weeks, that could mean that it impacts everything, not only from our organization, but to their family life.

So it is a big concern for us to make sure that carriers are out there and safe as much as possible when they're delivering the routes."
