West Side Evansville Church Gives Away Clothes During Drive-Thru

Others are stepping up to give back to our tri-state community.... earlier this afternoon on the west side of the river city--- members of simpson united methodist church gave away free hats-- coats---and gloves in drive- thru style.... it's an extension of their community clothes closet---which officials say they had to shut down due to safety concerns with the pandemic... "if we have one person who comes and find something they really need -- it's worth it.

Most of the people who have come -- have not had a coat on.

Or hat or gloves or anything.

So that shows us there is a need."
