Tory Lanez Seeks Permission to Legally Speak About Megan Thee Stallion Assault Case.

Tory Lanez has filed a motion to modify the protection order he is currently under due to his ongoing legal battle with Megan Thee Stallion.

The order prohibits him from publicly speaking about the case or contacting Megan on social media.

.

According to legal documents obtained by Complex, Lanez wishes to address “inflammatory information” being shared by Megan.

.

[Lanez] is unable to respond meaningfully to any of the statements made by [Megan].

[Lanez] has been careful to comply with the protective order, but at this point, the protective order is significantly prejudicial to [Lanez] and jeopardizes his right to a fair and judicial proceeding, Tory Lanez Legal Team, via Complex.

The motion also argues that Lanez’s lack of response may be incorrectly interpreted as “conceding” to Megan’s claims. [Lanez's] failure to respond to [Megan's] inflammatory and misleading statements may be interpreted as conceding to her claims. Nothing can be further from the truth … Her claims are and will be sharply disputed and contradicted by the evidence in the case … , Tory Lanez Legal Team, via Complex.

Megan has since responded to news of the motion, calling Lanez an “abuser” that is trying to “create doubt with [her] story.”.

That whole team figures out ways to create doubt with my story every week and the media eats it up … B---- you shot me AND MY STORY NOT CHANGING AND B---- YOU GOING TO JAIL, Megan Thee Stallion, via Twitter.

Lanez was arrested in July 2020 for carrying a concealed weapon and subsequently charged with assault.

Megan later spoke out about the incident, saying Lanez shot her feet at least twice
