Rashtriya Janata Dal, the main Opposition party in Bihar, staged a protest in Muzaffarpur amid skyrocketing petrol and diesel prices.
The demonstrators made donkeys pull motorcycles to highlight the plight of common people already struggling amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The protestors said that since fuel cost was crossing the Rs 100-mark, there was no other option.
Meanwhile, some election-bound states like Assam and West Bengal have cut fuel prices.
