The footage from February 2018 shows Reese use a bag of food to lure the feline towards him before quickly grabbing the cat and placing it in a bag.
He said: "I came to know that the 1-year-old cat named Bentley had been stuck for four nights, and rescue attempts with a ladder had failed." "When I arrived at the location, I immediately spotted Bentley on a branch of a pine tree next to the drive.
He was only about 25 feet up, and out on a limb.
I unloaded my gear and soon had a rope installed in the tree," Reese added.
"I started climbing.
I thought that Bentley would come right to me, but he retreated out of reach when I approached him.
I forgot my kitty food pouches on the ground, but the cat owner passed them up to me via my lanyard.
"When I opened the kitty treat bag, it immediately caught Bentley's interest and he came to me.
He allowed me to pet him, and I then scruffed and bagged him with no trouble.
Back on the ground, I handed the bag, with Bentley inside, over to owner Katie who took him inside for food/water."
