We're three days away from easter - the holiest day for christians.

This year many churches are holding in-person services.

Waay-31's bridget divers heard from local church leaders today about how they're planning to keep people safe this weekend.

Bridget... the pastor here at first baptist church said today that they are still doing in person services over the next several days for easter.

There are capacity limitations though with ever other pew being roped off.

Masks and social distancing are also required -- and if you don't have a mask the church has extras just in case.

There is also a third service this year on sunday to allow for extra space in the sanctuary.

"so we will do it certainly with limitations, but i have never looked forward to spring more and certainly to easter more than i have this year and i'm sure i'm not alone."

Now if you do not want to attend in person services first baptist church streams all their services online and they also air two tv programs. live in huntsville, bridget divers, waay-31 news.
