The mortal remains of slain CRPF jawan Shambhu Roy reached his home state Tripura on April 6.
Shambhu was killed in the fierce encounter with the Naxals in Chhattisgarh on April 3 along with 22 personnel.
MP from West Tripura Pratima Bhowmick, MLA Dr. Dilip Das, CRPF IG (Tripura) Satpal Rawat among others paid tribute to martyred Shambhu Roy.
After paying full gun honour salute by CRPF with barrels downward, the body of the martyr left for his ancestral house at Bhagyapur village in North Tripura district.
