The dogwood festival was expected to host about 200 vendors this year, and all of the annual shows.

Ellen palmer, the president of the perry chamber of commerce says they're putting safety first.

As sad as we are to have to cancel the dogwood festival, it just looks like with the severe weather that's coming through
