Firefighters rescued a badger trapped in a water well in northern China.
In the video, filmed in the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province on April 14, a badger got trapped in a 12-metre-deep and 10-metre-diameter water well.
The firefighters threw a rope down into the well to try to let the badger bite it and then lift the animal up but failed.
They then attached a plastic basket on the rope to try to save the badger again but it did not work either.
Finally, the firemen used a net to bring the badger back to safety successfully.
According to reports, the badger is a national second-class protected animal.
It has been handed over to a wildlife rescue centre.
