The Indian Air Force (IAF) airlifted four cryogenic oxygen containers from Frankfurt in Germany.

The Indian Air Force’s C-17 aircraft landed at the Hindon air base in Delhi.

IAF also airlifted 450 oxygen cylinders from UK’s Brize Norton to the Chennai airbase in Tamil Nadu.

IAF also conducted many flights in India on May 2 to transport oxygen containers from one place to another.

India is struggling with the second wave of the coronavirus infection.

Hospitals in several states are reeling under a shortage of oxygen and beds.
