Delhi's 400-bedded Guru Tegh Bahadur COVID facility to open from today

Guru Tegh Bahadur COVID care centre in Delhi is all set to begin operation from today with 400 beds.

All the beds are supported with the supply of medical oxygen.

Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee took the initiative to set up the COVID care centre.

The facility will fulfil all medical requirements of patients including doctors, nurses and medicines.

Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, "The facility has 400 beds to mark the 400th anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.

It will have all facilities, complete with oxygen concentrators, doctors, paramedics and own ambulances.

No money will be charged from patients, all medicines, oxygen and food would be free." He further added, "I thank Amitabh Bachchan for his contribution of Rs 2 crores to the facility.

He also said 'Sikhs are Legendary'."
