According to a witness Mr Chen, the fish kept jumping out of the water for around 3 minutes.
The deputy secretary general of Jilin Wildlife Protection Association named Wu Jianfeng said, it is a common phenomenon and it normally happens in reservoirs.
The phenomenon occurs when a large number of fish mate.
