The 2022 Honda Civic hatchback variant has been revealed.
It looks pretty much like the sedan right until you get to the back.
Although they share the same wheelbase, the hatchback is 4.9-inches shorter than the sedan.
Additionally, the tail has completely different taillights that are connected via the center brake light, and the rear bumper gets stylish integrated exhaust outlets.
While it is shorter than the sedan, the added versatility of the hatchback ought to keep it practical.
The hatchback comes with two engine options, a 158-horsepower naturally aspirated engine and a 180-horsepower turbocharged engine.
Both can be equipped with either a CVT or a six-speed manual transmission.
The hatchback enters production at Honda's factory in Indiana later this year.
Pricing hasn't yet been announced.
