The rescuers were able to reach them after the water level dropped to 3.3 metres at around 11 pm.

With the help of around 100 rescuers, the trapped woman and man were both brought back to safety after around 8 hours.

According to reports, the woman and the man walked to the lighthouse in the middle of a sea when the water level was low.

But the water level suddenly rose, meaning they could not get back to shore.
