Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer has lambasted the government’s plan for social care as a “poorly through-through mess” as he spoke at the Local Government Association Labour Leaders Summit.
“The government acts like there was no alternative, but their was an alternative … Labour would ask those with the broadest shoulders to pay their fare share,” he said.
