This is what an ethical and eco-sustainable farm with 6,000 chickens looks like

A few years ago, Giulio Apollonio flew the coop of his catering job and hatched a unique idea: happy hens make better chickens, and happy hens are better for the environment.

He raises more than 6,000 chickens in Puglia, southern Italy, balancing the demand for eggs with the need not to crack the environment.
