France legend Lilian Thuram says the only way football authorities will be forced to take racism seriously is if players walk off the field when suffering abuse.
Thuram said to CNN that the monkey chants and abuse he was once subjected to as a player have not been dealt with in any meaningful way and that’s why they are still present in the game.
