In English from Eastern Kentucky University.
He is an instructor in the Department of English and Theater at EKU and the author of several books covering such topics as history, biography, historical true crime, natural disasters, folklore, and ghostlore.
He spends his free time perfecting his vocal impersonation of the cartoon character Droopy.
