A famous landmark in Key West, FL, was damaged after two men set fire to a Christmas tree next to it in the early morning of January 1.
The concrete buoy that was burned marks the southernmost point in the continental United States.
The fire started between 3 am and 3:30 am and was later controlled by Key West Fire Department.
Local police are searching for the two suspects now.
