In a huge and sudden surge in the number of Covid-19 cases, India on Wednesday reported 12,213 fresh covid-19 infections.
With this the total number of covid-19 infections in the country surged to 4,32,57,730.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the active case load increased to 53,637.
