2,899 fresh covid-19 infections were added to the total tally of Covid-19 infections in the country on Saturday.
This is the fourth consecutive day when more than 12,000 cases have been reported in the country.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases jumped to 4,32,96,692, while the active cases recorded were 72,474, according to the data released by the Health Ministry.
