CNN reports members of Stephen Colbert's "Late Show" production team were arrested while filming at the U.S. Capitol last week.

Colbert said staff members, including "Triumph the Insult Comic Dog," were at the Capitol filming a comedy segment related to the January 6th hearings.

During the crew's second day of filming, U.S. Capitol Police detained them.

Colbert said he was not surprised Capitol police approached his staff members with such caution.
