CNN reports that Dunkin' Rewards is replacing DD Perks.

Scott Murphy, Dunkin’ president, said, “We consistently heard members ask for three things: flexibility, variety and recognition.”.

CNN reports that the new program will reward members with 10 points for every dollar spent.

Previously, 5 points were given for every dollar spent.

Rewards can be redeemed after acquiring 150 points instead of 200 points that were required under the previous program.

Points can also be used toward the purchase of food for the first time.

If a rewards members visits Dunkin' 12 times in a month, they get more points and benefits.

However, some customers aren't happy with the changes since many specialty drinks will require more points under the new program.
