PM insists government acting 'reasonably' over nurses pay

Rishi Sunak insists the government is "trying to act reasonably" by accepting the recommendations of an independent pay body "in full" when setting pay awards for nurses.

The prime minister calls for "restraint" in pay settlements to "control inflation" which he says is "the most important thing to do".
