The holiday season is upon us.

Christmas (Dec.

24), Chanukah (Dec.

18 to Dec.

26), Kwanzaa (Dec.

26 to Jan.1) – take your pick.

Or be like me – celebrate all 3.

I do have a special connection to Christmas though, and it IS one of two holidays which is actually mentioned in ACIM (Easter is the other).

This year in 2022 we are having the first truly open celebration of the Christmas holiday in the past 3 years.

I feel a lighter more celebratory energy in my home city of San Francisco this year.

Every evening as I drive home from the office I see another beautiful home, joyously decorated with colorful lights and Christmas images.

The Course tells us to associate light and joy with Christmas, so these visions of light and fun are perfect reminders of the light and joy within us all.

"The sign of Christmas is a star, a light in darkness.

See it not outside yourself but shining in the Heaven within and accept it as the sign the time of Christ has come." (OrEd.Tx.15.102) "Let no despair darken the joy of Christmas, for the time of Christ is meaningless apart from joy." (OrEd.Tx.15.108) I celebrate the light and joy that these wonderful examples of street art are communicating, and I can truly say for the first time in three years that it IS beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

(FYI: That is me and my sister Sara in a picture from 2021.

It was the only house we found decorated in all of San Francisco!

My hats off to them!

They kept the spirit alive.) 29 min.
