Network Rail: 2 out of 3 unions have accepted the deal

Chief Negotiator from Network Rail, Tim Shoveller says the rail strikes are a "huge frustration" and describes them as "unnecessary and unhelpful" before adding that only one union, out of three, did not agree to their latest pay rise.

His comments come as more than 40,000 RMT and TSSA railway workers at Network Rail and other train operating companies stage strike action in an ongoing dispute over pay.
