How will the stock market perform in 2023?
Here's my stock market prediction for 2023, including my prediction for the stock market on Wednesday.
At the February 2023 FOMC Meeting on Wednesday, the Fed is widely expected to raise interest rates by 0.25%, or 25 basis points.
But what the markets will really be watching for is how long Jerome Powell plans to keep interest rates elevated, and when the Federal Reserve plans to start lowering interest rates once again.
The outcome of the Federal Reserve Meeting could determine the direction of the stock market for the next 3 months.
After that, we have Apple Earnings, Alphabet Earnings, and Amazon Earnings all coming out Thursday after the close.
