'Sapeurs' in the Democratic Republic of Congo dance in the centre of Kinshasa on February 10, celebrated in the African country as Sapeur Day, as it marks the anniversary of the death of Stervos Niarcos, the movement's unofficial founder.

The sapeurs, whose flamboyant clothing style is internationally known, but many of whom are unemployed, are calling on the Congolese government to recognise their art.
