The Ukrainian military released drone footage on Sunday (March 26) showing besieged and battle-scarred Bakhmut.
Ukraine's ground forces commander Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi said on Monday (March 27) his troops were continuing to repel heavy Russian attacks on the eastern city of Bakhmut and that defending it was a "military necessity".
