Super Mario Odyssey (スーパーマリオ オデッセイ Sūpā Mario Odessei?) is a platform game developed by Nintendo Entertainment Planning & Development and published by Nintendo.
It was released worldwide on October 27, 2017 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.[1] It is the seventh three-dimensional platform game in the mainline Super Mario series, returning to the more freewheeling level design seen in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.[2] In the game, Mario's iconic hat becomes its own character (Cappy).[3]
