Gambia: Ousman Sonko, the 'Mastermind'

[JusticeInfo.net] On March 4, the prosecution concluded its closing arguments in the trial of Ousman Sonko, in Switzerland. They asked for the former interior minister of the Gambia to be sentenced to life for a number of serious crimes committed in his country under Yahya Jammeh's dictatorship. They described "a person of power who wants to control the situation at all times and hold all the strings."
