Africa: UNAIDS Calls For the Protection of Human Rights on the International Day to End Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT)

[UNAIDS] GENEVA -- Ahead of IDAHOBIT, commemorated worldwide on 17 May, UNAIDS is calling on governments everywhere to protect the human rights of LGBTQ+ people. Protecting the human rights of every person, UNAIDS research shows, is essential for protecting public health, because it enables inclusive and equitable access to health services without discrimination.
