Starbucks announces CEO is stepping down, launches environmental initiatives

Starbucks Corporation announced that Kevin Johnson, president and chief executive officer, will retire in April after a 13-year tenure at the company, including the last five years as CEO. Johnson was named president and chief executive officer in 2017, succeeding founder Howard Schultz.
