'The Exorcist' director passes away at 87

William Friedkin, the director of celebrated Hollywood films such as 'The French Connection' and 'The Exorcist', died on August 16 at the age of 87. Friedkin won five Academy Awards for The French Connection as the best picture, director, and actor for Gene Hackman.
