BJP top brass in touch with me, says ex-Tamil Nadu CM O Panneerselvam (OPS)

Former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam of Tamil Nadu's AIADMK party has revealed that the BJP top brass in Delhi was in constant contact with him on a daily basis. This comes after the AIADMK announced its decision to end ties with the BJP. Panneerselvam stated that his faction could also contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election alone and that they will announce their stand after the BJP makes its decision official. The rift between the AIADMK and the BJP reportedly stemmed from disagreements over the chief ministership for the 2026 assembly election.
