Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to form a high-level audit committee to investigate the reasons behind the failure of communication and signalling systems in the aftermath of the train collision in Vizianagaram. Jagan visited the injured passengers at the hospital and assured them of the government's support. He also conducted an aerial survey of the accident site.
