'Murdered hundreds of Indians': Israel bans Pakistan based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba

Israel has banned the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) ahead of the 15th anniversary of the Mumbai attacks. The ban was not requested by the Indian government, but Israel said it had completed all necessary procedures. Israel hopes the ban will address concerns in India that it has focused more on Iranian "terrorism" and not enough on cross-border terrorism from Pakistan. The 2008 Mumbai attacks targeted a Jewish center and killed many occupants. Israel has been urging India to ban Hamas, which recently carried out an assault on Israel.
