DDA to bowl Delhi over with 50-acre sports facility

Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has identified a 50-acre plot in Narela for a new cricket stadium, five star hotel, and super-specialty health facility. Lieutenant governor VK Saxena has given approval for DDA to seek a consultant to set up the stadium and directed completion within two years. DDA will contribute the land parcel as its share in the project, ensuring recurring income. Narela sub-city, similar to Dwarka and Rohini, is being developed and the LG is pushing for its development, including as an education hub.
