INS Kadmatt enters Japan for Operational Turnaround, set to celebrate Navy Day in Yokosuka

INS Kadmatt, an Anti-Submarine Warfare Corvette, arrived in Yokosuka, Japan for an Operational Turnaround. The ship will celebrate India's Navy Day with the Indian diaspora. Planned activities include onboard visits, professional exchanges with the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF), a Joint Yoga Camp, and coordination for the Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX). The visit aims to strengthen maritime cooperation between India and Japan, in line with their vision for the Indo-Pacific. INS Kadmatt previously undertook fuelling with JMSDF Fast Combat Support Ship, JS Towada, under the Reciprocal Provisioning of Supply and Services (RPSS) agreement.
