Dr Shaija Andavan, a professor at the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C), sparked controversy with a remark posted under a Facebook post discussing Nathuram Godse, the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi. The comment was posted from a profile under the name "Adv Krishna Raj." A screenshot of the comment was widely shared and invited widespread criticism.
