IIT Madras to develop India’s first indigenously-designed 155mm smart ammunition

In a significant collaboration, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is teaming up with Munitions India Limited, a Defense Public Sector Enterprise, to pioneer the development of India’s inaugural domestically-designed 155 Smart Ammunition. This partnership aims to bolster indigenous capabilities in a crucial defense domain.
