Al-Nassr, 1st Saudi Basketball Team to Qualify for Gulf Championships'' Final in 10 Years

(MENAFN - Saudi Press Agency) Dubai, June 25, 2021, SPA -- Riyadh-based Al-Nassr club defeated here today the host team Shabab Ahli Dubai of the United Arab Emirates 114-111 in the extra time to qualify for Gulf Basketball Championships'' Final. The match was ended in a tie of 97-97 each, but eventually, Al-Nassr managed to reach the final, as the first Saudi team in 10 years, since Jeddah-based Ittihad has taken part in the championships held in the Philippines, in 2011.
