*LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 8, 2024 / *Rich With Attitude, whose mission is to build self-confidence in young mothers within Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, has announced that it is expanding its Baby Essentials Giveaways program. Starting in June 2024, the nonprofit will hold free giveaways of crucial items twice a month, including diapers, baby wipes, and other necessities, to alleviate the burden on new mothers and foster a supportive community.

Daylajane Mays and Dr Krissy Jones from Rich With Attitude support mothers across the Los Angeles area with free essentials.

Rich With Attitude is a nonprofit organization that was founded to help young women who struggle to make sure their families have everything they need. Its creator, Daylajane Mays, was a single mother who raised her own children with little guidance and few resources. Today, Daylajane is joined by a dedicated team of board members and volunteers who are working to ensure other mothers have the direction, assistance, and friendly ear they need in order to raise their kids. Rich With Attitude offers its GEM's (Gorgeous Educated Mothers) program, where moms can learn how to become the best versions of themselves for their families; Baby Essential Giveaways, which gifts mothers with free diapers, wipes, blankets, formula, play pens, baby clothing, and more; Mommy Support Care Program, which teaches moms about healthy births, mental and physical health, postpartum depression, prenatal care, stress management, and return-to-work readiness.

Daylajane explains that Rich With Attitude understands the challenges that come with motherhood, particularly for young mothers, so it is increasing the number of free giveaways that it offers each month.

"We want to take some of the weight off the shoulders of these women by providing tangible support and encouragement for them through these giveaways," she says. "By offering free items that are indispensable for caring for newborns and babies, we hope to ease the strain these mothers are under and contribute to their well-being and that of their children."

Each giveaway is normally held on Saturdays from 11:00-1:00 p.m., although mothers are advised to check Rich With Attitude's Instagram page @rich_withattitude to verify the dates and times of upcoming giveaways.

Dr. Krissy Jones, a Board Member for Rich With Attitude, who runs one of the giveaways each month says that everyone at the nonprofit is excited about the potential impact of the giveaways. "At Rich With Attitude, we believe in the power of community and supporting each other through life's challenges," she shares. "Through our Baby Essential Giveaways, we want to extend a helping hand to young mothers and reassure them that they are not alone on their journey. Every mother deserves access to essential items for her baby, and we are committed to making that a reality."

Rich With Attitude ensures young women are well-prepared for a positive and healthy journey through motherhood.
