Microsoft has confirmed a new bug in all versions still getting support, including Windows 11 2022 Update. Windows 7 SP1 (currently being served as part of the ESU program), Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 are impacted as well. More specifically, the software giant explains that domain join operations could just fail on all supported versions of Windows, and at first glance, it looks like the culprit is the batch of cumulative updates that were shipped to the operating system in October. In other words, the one to blame is the October Patch Tuesday cycle, as they are causing domain join programs on Windows devices.
