The production of iPhones has been massively impacted by the COVID restrictions in China, particularly at the Foxconn factory in Zhengzhou. Due to a system referred to as point-to-point, employees working at the plant were only allowed to move from their rooms to production lines, always under supervision, just to make sure that the risks of getting and spreading COVID is close to 0. But with China itself easing up the restrictions, Foxconn is now doing the same thing, and most notably, this highly criticized system seems to be dropped as well.
