10/21: Gov't auto-safety website leaving drivers in the dark; Fashion designer Oscar de la Renta dies

One day after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration urged car owners to have exploding airbags immediately removed from their vehicles, the agency's website provided little information about the problem; and, the legendary fashion designer, whose fashions adorned some of the most famous women on the planet, has died after a long battle with cancer.
