'Aggressive' Chinese fighter jets spook Canadian plane

A Canadian general has criticized the Chinese air force for their aggressive and unsafe behavior towards a Canadian surveillance aircraft off the coast of China. The incident involved a Chinese fighter jet cutting off the patrol plane, dropping flares in its path, and flying within 5 meters of the plane. China filed a diplomatic complaint with Canada over the incident.
