Pakistan court orders return of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif's seized property, assets

An accountability court in Pakistan has ordered the release of all properties seized from former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in connection with a corruption case. The court decided to withdraw the order for attachment of his properties since Sharif had surrendered and his arrest warrant had been cancelled. Sharif, who recently returned to Pakistan after self-imposed exile, is set to lead the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz party in the upcoming general elections.
